I'm a long-time database applications developer. I've helped a wide range of clients in North America and Europe, including universities, major US school districts, medical care providers, travel agencies.
The two industries that I've done the most work in are publishing (I helped put two of the oldest newspapers in the southwestern US online, and my apps helped the largest syndicates of alternative newsweeklies distribute their papers for fifteen years). And more recently, my work has focused on law firms, especially firms doing mass tort litigation. That work was done using older technologies (I would have used Stacker but didn't exist yet!).
I'm excited about the revolution in my industry that low code/no code represents, but I also realize that, even without code, the design, development and implementation of database-driven apps is never easy and I'm looking forward to helping out a new population of clients for whom the older technologies were too expensive to be an option.
